DCSlash Gathering: Almost Human

Tomorrow (July 30), we'll be Gathering to watch Almost Human. If you haven't seen it and you're a sci-fi person, love Karl Urban, or are a cop show fan, you should check it out. The basic premise is a futuristic world where because of the massive spike in crime, each cop is partnered with an android to help protect him. Most of the androids are easy to recognize as not being human. As John Kennex (Karl Urban) keeps getting his new MX models destroyed, he's given an old DRN model as a temporary replacement. The DRN models were gotten rid of as they were too lifelike. "Somehow" this grumpy cop gets on with Dorian (DRN) and they actually have a good partnership. The show was on Fox and only got a run of 13 episodes.
