Here is the lineup:

China Rain: Second episode of the series. McCall is called in by the Chinese housekeeper when her child is kidnapped instead of her employer's child. McCall needs help so he goes to Control to find his old protege, Mickey.
Breakpoint: Still first season, but toward the end. McCall goes to the wedding of an old friend and the wedding reception gets taken hostage. McCall is working on keeping hostages and perpetrators calm while waiting for his opportunity while Mickey works to find his way in to help McCall.
The Cup: Second Season. Mickey is hanging out at McCall's when a news broadcast shows that his brother the priest was the witness to a murder. Mickey is desperate to protect his brother even though said brother doesn't approve of how Mickey lives his life.
Beyond Control: Second Season. Control comes to Robert because he's being set up and needs Robert to take him on as a client. They end up protecting the niece of a mutual friend/agent. This is fodder for the old boyfriend vs new boyfriend fans - those who do Control/Robert and those who do Mickey/McCall.
Mission McCall 1 & 2: Third Season. Edward Woodward had a heart attack and they had to come up with something to cover for it. They had McCall go missing. Scott (Robert's son), Mickey, Control and some new additions, like Harley, join the cast in this two-part episode. This is the basis for a lot of the Scott/Mickey and the Scott/Harley fic.
Splinters: Fourth and Final Season. The KGB have captured Mickey and are brainwashing him using a new technique. They want him to kill McCall as the ultimate proof of the technique. Tons of Mickey angst and Robert losing his mind trying to find him.

On Tuesday, we'll be watching The Equalizer. This is the original television series with Edward Woodward. The basic premise is CIA operative has left the Company (even though they don't want to let him leave) and is dealing with his issues by advertising to help people in the newspaper - odds against you, call the Equalizer. He, along with friends who are still working for the Company, help people in New York with all kinds of problems from kidnappings to murder threats to living in apartments run by a slum lord. DCSlash Gathering: Almost Human

Tomorrow (July 30), we'll be Gathering to watch Almost Human. If you haven't seen it and you're a sci-fi person, love Karl Urban, or are a cop show fan, you should check it out. The basic premise is a futuristic world where because of the massive spike in crime, each cop is partnered with an android to help protect him. Most of the androids are easy to recognize as not being human. As John Kennex (Karl Urban) keeps getting his new MX models destroyed, he's given an old DRN model as a temporary replacement. The DRN models were gotten rid of as they were too lifelike. "Somehow" this grumpy cop gets on with Dorian (DRN) and they actually have a good partnership. The show was on Fox and only got a run of 13 episodes.

Today, we will be showing The Untamed. A Chinese drama that follows Wei Wuxian (Xiao Zhan) and Lan Wangji (Wang Yibo) as “cultivators”, with supernatural powers from different worlds who are forced to work together to protect the peace in their worlds. The two fight villains, solve a series of murders, and uncover a dark mystery. Wai Wuxian is irreverent, good-natured, and ruthless. In contrast, Lan Wangji is stoic, spiritual, and tragic.

- Still injured, Anakin fights alongside Ahsoka, Secura and Rex against a new Separatist weapon, while the pacifistic natives must decide whether or not they will join the fight against the Separatists in order to survive.

- After Ahsoka disobeys orders, leading to the loss of most of her squadron as well as Admiral Yularen getting injured, Ahsoka loses her self-confidence and desire to lead; however, Anakin finds a way to restore his padawan’s confidence.

- Anakin repeatedly goes against Admiral Yularen’s advice while attempting to stop Cad Bane and recover the stolen Jedi Holocron.

- Anakin and Obi-Wan are sent to free a captive Jedi General, Even Piell, and his fleet officer, Captain Tarkin, from an impenetrable prison. As always, chaos ensues.
Season 3 Episode 19: Counterattack
- Anakin and Obi-Wan have successfully retrieved Piell and Tarkin from their cells, and now have to attempt to get them off the planet. However, the prison proves to be difficult to escape.
Season 3 Episode 20: Citadel Rescue
- After their original escape plan is thwarted, Anakin and Obi-Wan have to lead Piell and Tarkin through the planet’s hazardous landscape while fellow Jedi Plo Koon commands a task force through Separatist defenses in order to rescue them.

- During a ground invasion of Ryloth in order to free the locals from Separatist control, Clone troopers Waxer and Boil are sent to scout the south sector and make a new friend who helps to save the day. Ft. Obi-Wan carrying a small child.
Season 3 Episode 1: Clone Cadets
- A group of clones who struggle to work together during training on Kamino learn to work together as a team by going through their own personal journeys and finally band together when faced with adversity.
Season 3 Episode 2: ARC Troopers
- Obi-Wan and Anakin intercept an encrypted message regarding an impending Separatist attack on Kamino, and hurry to Kamino in order to defend it. Rex, Cody, Fives, and Echo lead the clones on Kamino in defense of their planet while Obi-Wan and Anakin fight the Separatist leaders in charge of the invasion.
Season 3 Episode 8: Evil Plans
- C-3PO and R2-D2 get sent to buy fruit for a banquet, and it goes about as well as expected. A.k.a Anakin lets the droids go out without supervision, and they end up in trouble.

Season 4 Episode 6: Nomad Droids
- C-3PO and R2-D2 continue to go through a series of misadventures after attempting to escape a Separatist attack they encountered while on their way home.
Season 4 Episode 7: Darkness on Umbara
- “When Anakin is forced to temporarily turn over command of his clone troopers to a new commander, the Jedi Pong Krell, tensions begin to run high as the clones are assigned a very deadly mission to take the capital of Umbara.”
Season 4 Episode 8: The General
- “General Krell orders Captain Rex and the clone troopers of the 501st Legion to conquer a heavily fortified Umbaran airbase, and will not accept anything less than victory. It is an almost certain suicide mission, unless the clones can use their ingenuity to defeat their new enemy.”
Season 4 Episode 9: Plan of Dissent
- “After the Republic conquers an Umbaran airbase, General Krell orders Rex and his men on towards the heavily fortified capital. Realizing there’s a better plan, several clone troopers disobey orders to carry out a rogue, covert operation.”

- “With two of his men facing execution for disobeying orders, Captain Rex must confront his overly aggressive commander, General Krell. Risking charges of mutiny, Rex must make a dark choice as the true face of the enemy emerges.”

Saturday at the Movies

Today, we'll be watching Master and Commander, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Stargate, and The Chronicles of Riddick. To watch you don't have to download anything or set up an account, just click the link below from a chrome browser. We start at 1:30 pm EST. I try to put approximate times up as we go along, but figure Raiders will start about 3:30-3:45 to catch the end of Master and Commander and the start of Raiders. Raiders is 2 hours so figure 5:30-5:45 to catch the start of Stargate, and finally 7:30-7:45ish to catch the start of Riddick.
